It's official - the 2010 American Karate System Annual Summer Camp will be held the weekend of July 16-18. Any instructors with students needing to test for a Dan level rank should have them ready for the afternoon of the 16th. Our annual black belt meeting will take place that evening, location to be announced later. AKS training will take place Saturday morning for all AKS members. The afternoon sessions will be for anyone who is interested in training with us. An announcement will be made later regarding the agenda and who the instructors will be. We will hold our social on Saturday evening, location and host TBA. We will meet Sunday AM at the park by Lake Michigan for brunch and training.
If you haven't checked out this edition of the AKS newsletter - The Punchline - you will find it on the AKS web site. There are some good articles and other information of interest.
Please put these dates on your calendar and make plans to join us. Please note this is the same weekend the Muskegon Bike Fest will take place. This will necessitate getting reservations ASAP. For those members living in the Muskegon, area please let us know if you have space to accomodate others. We all appreciate saving money, especially in these tight economic times.
Good Health and Good Training!
